Meet Jennifer Angelone
Hi! I'm Jennifer Angelone, and my path to becoming a therapist was paved by a lifelong passion for people and a deep belief that everyone deserves to feel supported.
With so much life experience behind her, Jennifer brings a warmth and energy to her work that is immediately felt in the room. She knows that life can be complicated — relationships are hard, emotions run deep, and sometimes we need someone in our corner who genuinely believes things can get better. That belief is at the core of everything Jennifer does.
At HS Therapy - Healing Space, Jennifer offers both virtual and in-person therapy in Whitby, working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, and the lasting impact of trauma. Her approach blends Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy — helping clients not only understand their patterns but rewrite the stories that have been holding them back.
Jennifer's style is warm, uplifting, and grounded in hope. She meets every client with genuine curiosity and an unwavering belief in their capacity to heal and grow.
My Story Is My Why
Life has a way of leaving marks — some we can name, and some we carry for years before we understand their weight. Growing up, mental health was not something that was talked about. You pushed through, you stayed silent, and the things that hurt you got buried beneath the demands of everyday life. I know what it is to hold pain that was never given a name, and to move through the world shaped by experiences you were never given space to process.
That is what brought me to this work. When I finally found my way to therapy, I began to understand that what I had been carrying had a name — and that healing was not only possible, it was something I deserved. That realization changed everything. It is why I show up the way I do — with warmth, with energy, and with an unshakeable belief that no matter what you have been through, something better is possible.
At HS Therapy – Healing Space in Whitby, I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, and the lasting weight of trauma. Drawing from CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, I help clients understand the patterns that have been holding them back — and begin writing a new story.
My sessions are a space where you are allowed to be exactly where you are. Whether you are coming in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for something to shift — I will meet you there, with hope and without judgment.
